Brief Description
The project aims to establish a regional research structure for the conservation, development, and sustainable use of fruit genetic resources in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. It brings together stakeholders from science, industry, and civil society through cooperation with newly established biodiversity and ecosystem protection institutes serving as national coordination centers. The initiative seeks to strengthen collaboration, coordinate ongoing activities, share existing knowledge, promote international scientific partnerships, and raise awareness about biodiversity conservation. Ultimately, the project will create a sustainable research network that supports long-term cooperation and benefits all participating partners.
