On 29 May, CASIB attended the opening ceremony of the KazNU–XUST Joint Bioconversion Laboratory at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

The laboratory was established as a platform for advanced research in the field of bioconversion and will support molecular genetic, microbiological, chemical, and biochemical studies aimed at understanding and optimizing bioconversion processes.

The creation of this joint laboratory provides new opportunities for collaborative research, knowledge exchange, and the development of innovative technologies.

The new laboratory is expected to make a valuable contribution to Kazakhstan’s scientific and technological development and to support the training of young researchers in cutting-edge research fields.
