4th Annual SDSN Kazakhstan Conference in Almaty

The 4th Annual SDSN Kazakhstan Conference, “Accelerating the SDGs: Science, Partnerships and Action,” will take place on 22–23 October 2026 at Almaty Management University (AlmaU), Almaty, Kazakhstan. The conference will be held in a hybrid format, allowing participants to join both in person and online.

Organized by SDSN Kazakhstan, the Center for Sustainable Development at AlmaU, and PRME Chapter Central Asia, the conference will bring together researchers, universities, government representatives, international organizations, businesses, civil society, and young professionals. Its goal is to create a platform for sharing research, exchanging practical experience, building new partnerships, and developing solutions that can accelerate progress toward the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Kazakhstan and Central Asia.

This year’s programme will focus on several key areas, including water security and sustainable natural resource management, climate change and resilience, clean energy, circular economy, health and well-being, ESG, sustainable finance, artificial intelligence and digital solutions, as well as youth leadership and climate education.
