Last week, Ashgabat hosted the Turkmenistan–European Union Business Forum titled “New Horizons for Connectivity, Investments, and Sustainable Growth.”

The event provided an important platform to present activities within the project “EU for a Green Turkmenistan: Policy Dialogue and Climate Action 2024–2029,” with CASIB contributing to the scientific coordination.

In parallel to the forum, Clausthal University of Technology conducted a series of workshops involving representatives from the State Concern Turkmengas, the State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan (Mary), and various research institutions.

The workshops focused on:

  • safe and sustainable oil and gas production
  • integration of renewable energy solutions

These activities foster knowledge exchange and strengthen collaboration between European and Turkmen partners, contributing to innovation and environmental sustainability in the region.
