Übersicht: How to apply for a grant for financing in Kazakhstan

1.Determine the program and priority area

→ «Zhas galym» , Grant Funding, Program-Targeted Funding (PTF)

→ Make sure that the topic corresponds to the priorities (water, ecology, digitalization, etc.)

2.Prepare the main documents

→ project proposal, goals, novelty, expected results

→ work plan by year, budget, team CV

→ support letters (if required)

3.Register on the grant portal

1. → National Portal of Scientific Grants: https://is.ncste.kz(Figure 1,2)

→ Needed: EDS and business confirmation

Fill in the key fields of the application

→ project name, priority, goal, novelty, practical significance

→ stages, budget, team composition

→ check compliance with the competition format

Submit it for internal approval and submit it through the organization (university/RESEARCH institutes)

→ then track the status and update it based on comments if necessary
