The CLIENT Conference 2024, held November 28–29, successfully brought together leading researchers, practitioners, and policymakers to address critical global challenges. The conference highlighted the results of CLIENT II projects, which impacted several Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). These projects focused on research for sustainable innovations, exploring themes of inequality, and equitable access to essential resources.

Discussions emphasized the transformative potential of a new form of science-based diplomacy. Successful projects such as SUFACHAIN, DAMAST Transfer, TERESA and others were showcased, demonstrating tangible progress in building trust and creating impactful solutions at the community level.

A key takeaway from Florian Frank’s (German Ministry of Education) speech: building strong international collaborations, conducting effective lobbying, and developing a persuasive communication strategy to win public support.
