The mid-term meeting on the SUFACHAIN project took place in Tashkent from April 25th to 26th, 2024
At the meeting, the preliminary results from the various work packages of the project were discussed with the regional partners from science and practice and the German project partners from the Rhein-Waal University, and the project's work process was evaluated. The event also aimed to prepare for upcoming activities.
Core workshop objectives:
- Report, discuss, and evaluate project progress in the different work packages
- Plan and discuss upcoming activities in the work packages
- Plan further dissemination activities

Discussion on the workshop
The workshop was followed by an excursion to the Ferghana Valley. Among other things, various agroforestry systems and a dry fruit production facility were visited. Further information about the project can be found at http://sufachain.org/
