On Oct 24, CASIB was present at the large international agricultural exhibition Kaz-Agro in Nur-Sultan. Last year, approx. 300 enterprises from 27 countries exhibited there and almost 10000 visitors were registered.

For CASIB, the exhibition meant valuable conversations about CLIENT II with exhibitors and guests. The focus was particulary on the agriculture-related CLIENT II projects that are currently being realised in Kazakhstan, such as KlimALEZ, ReKKS, KASHEMP, LINOKAS and Locust-Tec, in order to draw attention to them and identify possible additional partners for measures of implementation and stabilisation in the long run. Visits to the stands of various CLIENT II stakeholders and projects such as Amazone, LINOKAS, the German-Kazakh Agro-Political Dialogue, the German Agricultural Center in Kazakhstan and the Baraev-Institute (also: Center of Cereal Research) provided ideal opportunities for exchange on current activities and developments.

The following reception at the German embassy also allowed for animated dialogues with embassy staff and different stakeholders from agriculture and beyond. This way, both the funding measure CLIENT II and the projects that are currently being implemented within its framework widen their public scope, which is highly beneficial to the constant search for potential parters to put projects into practice and commercialise them.
