From May 19–23, 2025, CASIB accompanied the DFG delegation led by Dr. Jörn Achterberg on a research-focused visit through Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. The goal: to foster exchange with universities and key partner organizations on opportunities for research collaboration.
The visit primarily supported the preparation of the upcoming UDIF-HAW initiative, which aims to strengthen the international networks of German universities of applied sciences. Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan are now set to become the fifth regional focus of this initiative.
