On September 9th, we met with Farkhot Rakhimov, the head of the Scientific and Technical Information Center of the MHESI (Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation) in Tashkent. The center was established following the Ministry's restructuring, aiming to integrate science, education, and innovation. With around 50 staff members, the center compiles and processes essential scientific information, like projects and publication results. This is crucial for preparing the commercialization of research outcomes. A significant information deficit often exists on the Uzbek side, especially regarding international projects. Through our close collaboration, we enable a well-functioning information flow between the scientific landscapes of Germany and Uzbekistan, benefiting both sides.
