From March 9 to 16, 2023, CASIB accompanied a delegation trip organized on behalf of the BMBF with representatives of the project management DLR-PT, the Justus Liebig University of Giessen, the Hermann von Helmholtz Association of German Research Centers (HGF), the German Research Foundation (DFG), the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation (AvH) and the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.
The aim of the trip was the exchange with regional research and intermediary institutions about the peculiarities of the respective research landscapes and the potentials of future R&D cooperation with Germany. The information obtained is used to develop recommendations for action for Germany's R&D strategy with Central Asia.
