On 18 November 2025, the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Berlin hosted the 1st German-Uzbek Higher Education Forum. As part of the forum, participants met with the Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Higher Education and Science of Uzbekistan (MHESI), who emphasized the importance of research for Uzbekistan’s development and presented the country’s research strategy, including the planned establishment of research clusters.

From 13 to 16 October, the CASIB Office visited Turkmenistan within the framework of the C5+1 format, together with representatives from BMFTR, DLR Project Management Agency, DFG, and DAAD. The delegation was accompanied by Dr. Peter Liebelt, Head of the CASIB Office.
