The German Federal Ministry of Research, Technology and Space (BMFTR) invites applications for the Digital GreenTalents – High Potentials in Sustainable Development Award 2026.

The program supports outstanding young researchers working at the intersection of digital technologies and sustainable development, promoting innovative solutions to global challenges.

What the program offers:

  • Fully funded research stay in Germany (up to 3 months in 2027)
  • Participation in a SpringSchool with workshops, excursions, and networking
  • Individual mentoring by leading experts
  • Access to a global alumni network

Who can apply:

  • Master’s students (final year), PhD students, or recent graduates
  • Research focus on digitalization and sustainability
  • Strong academic record and English proficiency
