The second CLIENT II Conference provides a platform to exchange with CLIENT II projects and interested parties, network regionally, and participate in working sessions.
The BMBF’s funding initiative “CLIENT II – International Partnerships for Sustainable Innovation” addresses challenges in 32 partner countries applying innovative and sustainable approaches. There are currently 64 collaborative research projects focusing on the field of
1. Resource efficiency and circular economy
2. Water management
3. Climate protection/energy efficiency
4. Adaptation to climate change
5. Land management
6. Sustainable energy systems
7. Natural hazards

During the 2nd CLIENT II conference, there will be a session “Regional Exchange Asia” on 27th October 2021, 13:45 – 15:15 Vietnam time | 08:45 – 10:15 Germany time. This session provides the presentations and discussions on the experiences of the CLIENT projects in Vietnam, Central Asia, and China. The focal topic is “From Research to Implementation”.
Some highlights of the conference:
– Online networking platform: with representatives of the CLIENT II projects and partners, and actors from the economy and accompanying projects.
– Working sessions: will discuss joint project approaches and develop solutions to particular issues
– Presentations of various CLIENT II projects
– Get together: opportunities for information exchange in person in Berlin and virtually on 26th October 2021
