Coronavirus in Central Asia: Latest Updates

According to official statistics in Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Mongolia, the number of infected people is consistently less than 100, and in Tajikistan there have been no infected people for the last 1.5 months. In Kazakhstan, the situation is slightly different - the number of infected people has been over 1,000 for a long time, but in the last week there is a decline. 

Entry rules:
The visa-free regime of entry, stay and departure from Kazakhstan has been suspended for the citizens of 57 countries, including Germany, until 1 May 2021. 
From December 4, 2020, foreign citizens and stateless persons can enter the Kyrgyz Republic by regular flights through the checkpoints of the international airports "Manas", "Osh", "Issyk-Kul".
From December 25, everyone arriving in Uzbekistan is required to pass a rapid test for the presence of antigen to COVID-19, even if arriving guests have a certificate with a negative PCR test for coronavirus.
Borders of Tajikistan are closed to German citizens.
Entry into Mongolia is possible with a short-stay type B business visa issued on or after 8 October 2020.
